Today we got up immediately to visit the Capitol Building of Illinois. We met and gained the support of many government officials. It was a blast! Our favorite part was being acknowledged while the House was in session during an emergency meeting to debate their budget. It was a great honor. Afterwards, we ate lunch in the rain, and then headed to speak to Reverend Johnson in Ferguson. After that we spoke to the police station in Ferguson and gained a personal understanding of that very special town. It was a great day and unique experience for each and every one of us.
