Today was the first time during the trip that our team encountered rain/hail. The team that rode through the storm was composed of two girls, our riders from France and Austria! At the campground at night, we set up tents for everyone, but the wind and rain caused the girls tent to collapse, and everyone inside was drenched! Two girls from Argentina and Peru braved the storm at 2 in the morning to fix the collapsed shelter… girl power!
